SHB is being developed alongside the 2HEART device and app, both currently in pre-launch development. Nothing below describes an available product feature it describes what SHB is designed to do.
SHB stands for Soleus Heart Beat a name that mirrors the soleus's nickname, the second heart. The metric is designed to count how many times your soleus muscle activates during a seated 2HEART session. A higher SHB count is intended to reflect more soleus activity during that session, not a comparison against other people's numbers.
It's built as a personal baseline metric the intent is to help you see your own pattern over time, the way a step count does for walking, but for the hours you're sitting instead.
Step count measures walking. It stays at zero the moment you sit down which is precisely the gap SHB is designed to fill. The two aren't competing metrics; they're built to cover different parts of your day. Read the full comparison →
Soleus Health is the broader wellness category 2HEART is building the idea that the soleus muscle deserves attention during the hours you spend seated, not just during exercise. SHB is the specific metric intended to make that idea measurable and personal, rather than abstract. Learn more about Soleus Health →
